Departments in Workforce TNA are used to group your employee's which will make certain processes easier and faster for the user.


Employees can belong to multiple departments.  You may group your staff into departments such as 'Production', 'Sales' etc, however they may also be associated with a department to easily group for payroll export of certain staff.


Once you've added your department you're able to select the department and configure additional options used for filtering data.



General:

In General it will give you the ability to change the name of the department or archive the deparment so it doesn't show on the Active list. 

Locations:

Assigning this to department to specific locations. For example assigning the Mechanic department only to the Brisbane Depot.

Schedules:

Assigning this department to only be available to specific schedules.

Employees:

Assigning this department to only be available to specific employees.
