HOW EMPLOYEES APPLY FOR LEAVE


Employees can have the option to apply for leave using the My Workforce TNA smartphone app, which is available on both Google and Apple app stores.

The Kiosk app also has that feature.

                Here are the steps:

  1. At the home screen, tap on the ‘hamburger’ menu




     


  2. Scan your face to open the menu
     

    You will see several options.

  3. Tap on My Info > My Leave Requests
     


     
  4. You will see all your Leave Request history.
    1. Pending Leave Requests will show in blue
    2. Rejected or Cancelled ones in red
    3. Approved leave will show in green

  5. Tap on the Add button to create a new Leave Request.
     


    If leave balances have been added to your Workforce, you will see your current leave balance at the top of the window


  6. You will then need to add:
    1. The Leave Type
    2. First Day of Leave
    3. Last Day of Leave

      Once those details have been added you may also see a future, or predicted, leave balance.

       That will only show if your  Workforce leave settings have  been setup correctly. 



    4. You will also see the Total Hours of leave you are applying for.
      This is calculated based on the Schedule you are tagged to in Workforce.

       There are also an optional Comment field, plus the ability to Upload a document with your leave application. That document can be chosen from your photo Gallery or using the camera.


       
       
  7. Finally, tap on the blue Add Request button to send your request.


  8. If you have an email address in your Employee profile, you will get an email letting you know that your leave request has been successfully submitted.

     And you will see your leave request showing in blue in your list of leave with the status Pending.





    NOTE: Until that leave request is either  approved or denied, you have the ability  to change the details and Update your  request.

    However, once it has been processed, that ability will be lost.

     Any changes from then on will require  the current leave request to be Cancelled.
